Many traditional features are included in the price including low level boarding and a hinged door with black antique handles and hinges. The price also includes two large opening windows and an integral base plinth. Both pictures show the 6'6" wide greenhouse with optional staging to both sides.

  SPECIALIST DELIVERY SERVICE:- These greenhouses are normally delivered by the fitters in dedicated vehicles. This ensures less damage and no delay between delivery and fitting. Most cheaper greenhouses are delivered by national carriers who normally deliver to the kerbside only. Carriers cause more damage and normally refuse to carry glass or large panels. Their prices are based on weight and panel sizes. As a result, greenhouses delivered by outside carriers are made in small and flimsy lightweight sections with less wood. The benefits of our specialist delivery service include less damage, larger more rigid panels and heavier construction.

  PRESSURE TREATED TIMBER: Pressure treatment is a lifetime preservative treatment. The preservative is forced into the timber under pressure and penetrates below the surface, whereas all other treatments apply a coat of stain to the surface of the timber only. Pressure treatment is almost colourless except for a slight green tint caused by the copper content in the preservative. No further treatment is ever needed but if you want a coloured finish you can paint over pressure treated timber with normal wood preservative in any colour.

  LOW LEVEL TIMBER CLADDING: Part boarded walls with low level cladding boards are included in the price. This is normally an expensive extra or not available at all. Cladding boards offer better heat retention in the winter and are ideal for growing shade-loving plants such as ferns. Cladding boards are included to all sides of the greenhouse.

  TOUGHENED GLASS: Toughened glass is the best glazing material for use in greenhouses. It is around 6 times stronger than normal glass so it is less likely to break. When it does break toughened glass breaks into harmless small pieces. Toughened glass is also heavy which helps to resist wind. Full height toughened glass is supplied in larger size panes of glass with no overlapping glass.

  HEATERS: We offer a huge range of heaters and whatever your specific heating requirements we have a heater to do the job. Electric heaters normally require a standard domestic 13 amp electricity supply. Propane gas heaters require ventilation when in use. A 3kw heater provides heating for a greenhouse up to 8'x12' or frost protection for a greenhouse up to 10'x15' in normal site conditions. Heating requirements vary greatly with less heat required in a sheltered location or a lean to and more heat required in Scotland than in Southern England. Wooden greenhouses are normally cheaper to heat than aluminium greenhouses.

  HEAVY DUTY DIY BASE KITS: The kits include weed control membrane which is laid below the pavers. The eco friendly plastic pavers are made from 100% recycled polypropylene. Lightweight and easy to install with minimal preparation, first the ground is levelled and then the weed control membrane is laid directly on the soil. The pavers are laid on the membrane. The pavers can be backfilled with soil or shingle or left unfilled. Unlike paving or concrete these durable bases are self draining and fully relocatable. Designed to spread weight, each paver is 50mm thick and capable of supporting 75 tonnes. The pavers are quickly clipped together with multiple locking points to ensure rigidity. The paver size is 500mm x 500mm. Where space permits the base is normally laid full size but if required in a tight location the pavers can be easily cut to size without loss of structural integrity. Fast delivery within 5-7 days ensures that you can start work quickly.
