Two free roof vents provide ventilation (not one vent as pictured). A sliding door provides access. The rear height is 6'2" including the base plinth. The prices include a free base plinth which makes installation easier. Detailed fitting instructions are supplied for easy DIY self assembly. These greenhouses and all accessories are always in stock, so whatever you order we can deliver on the next day. The picture shows an earlier model with only one roof vent - two roof vents are now supplied.

• At most sites it is possible for the driver to deliver into the back garden unaided. Even if a product is too heavy for the driver to carry it far the lorries are equipped with trolleys for moving heavy items over hard surfaces such as concrete or tarmac.

You can select a delivery day when you order online or if you order by phone. Alternatively, you can order without specifying a day and request delivery later by phone or email.

  NEXT DAY DELIVERY: Next day delivery is available at any mainland address in England and Wales and throughout southern and central Scotland. We deliver the next working day if requested before 12 noon. For example, to request delivery on Monday just contact us before 12 noon on Friday.

  DELAYED DELIVERY: You can request a delivery day weeks in advance or you can wait to choose a delivery day later. We can deliver on any weekday of your choice, just contact us before 12 noon the day before.

  AM DELIVERY - BEFORE NOON: Delivery before 12 noon is a low cost option at any mainland address in England and Wales and throughout southern and central Scotland, except in PA21-23 and PA35-36 postcodes. If your delivery is outside the specified time the charge will be fully refunded.

  TWIN WALL POLYCARBONATE: Twin wall polycarbonate glazing is far stronger than the flimsy single skin polycarbonate sheeting supplied with other greenhouses. Twin wall polycarbonate is virtually unbreakable and easy to handle, so its safe for the whole family. It provides good insulation from frost and maintains a more even temperature for better plant growth. Twin wall polycarbonate also diffuses light to prevent scorching.

  POWDER COATED ALUMINIUM: The powder coated finish is more attractive than the stark silver grey colour of mill finish aluminium. An example of the finish achieved with powder coating is the finish on your washing machine, which is similar to our powder coated greenhouses. The factory finish is similar to primer although a top coat is not normally needed. The aluminium is not affected if the powder coated surface is scratched. The base plinth is also powder coated to match the greenhouse frame.

  BASE PLINTH INCLUDED: The price includes the base plinth which makes installation much easier. It can be placed on any flat and level surface incuding soil, gravel, concrete or paving slabs. The base is green powder coated to match the greenhouse frame. An extra green coat is added after cutting and drilling so there are no bare metal edges which ensures greater durability. The kit includes base anchor pegs to secure the base plinth in soil.

  TIPS IF HEIGHT IS RESTRICTED: The greenhouse cill features a lip which is designed to overhang the edges of the base for drainage purposes. The cill also doubles as a sliding door guide. At sites where height is restricted the base or plinth can be partially buried in the ground with as little as 12mm above the surrounding ground. The base plinth is prefabricated to the correct size. Alternative bases whether concrete, slabs or brick must be made to exactly the same external dimensions as the prefabricated base plinth and no larger.

  LENGTH AND WIDTH: In the SIZES & PRICES chart the first dimension listed is the projection and the second dimension is the length. The projection is measured from the existing building. All sizes quoted are the external greenhouse sizes unless stated otherwise.

  BASE ANCHORS: Base anchor pegs are provided to fix the base plinth into soil. However if your greenhouse is sited on concrete or slabs it is advisable to fix the base plinth down. We offer base anchor fixing kits as a low cost option or the base can be secured using screws and wall plugs. In less sheltered locations it is advisable to install the greenhouse on a concrete or paving slab base and to secure it in place with suitable fixings.

  VENTILATION: Additional ventilation will improve the air circulation through the greenhouse for better growing results. Automatic openers react to heat to ensure that in hot weather the window will ventilate in your absence. You should consider which plants you may grow because some plants such as alpines require more ventilation than others.
