A sliding door provides access. The first picture shows the greenhouse with optional base plinth, which makes installation easier. TELL US WHICH DAY: You need to tell us when to deliver, whichever option you choose. We cannot deliver unless you tell us which day. You can select a delivery day when you order online or if you order by phone. Alternatively, you can order without specifying a day and request delivery later by phone or email.
NEXT DAY DELIVERY: Next day delivery is available throughout mainland England, Wales, southern and central Scotland, Northern Ireland and County Dublin. We deliver the next working day if requested before 12 noon. For example, to request delivery on Monday just contact us before 12 noon on Friday.
DELAYED DELIVERY: You can request a delivery day weeks in advance or you can wait to choose a delivery day later. We can deliver on any weekday of your choice, just contact us before 12 noon the day before.
SCOTLAND: Delivery is normally next day to all mainland addresses in AB, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, IV1-2, IV12-13, IV30-36, KA, KY, ML, PA1-19, PA21-27, PH1-26 and TD postcodes. Delivery is a day later with 48 hour delivery to mainland addresses in all other postcodes.
OFFSHORE ISLANDS: Delivery is normally next day to the Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles and the Channel Islands. Delivery to the Scottish Islands and the Isle of Man is a day later with 48 hour delivery.
IRELAND: Delivery is normally next day throughout Northern Ireland and County Dublin. Delivery to all other counties in the Republic of Ireland is a day later with 48 hour delivery. 48 HOUR DELIVERY: In some areas next day delivery is not possible. 48 hour delivery is the only option in Northern Scotland, the Scottish Islands, the Isle of Man and the Republic of Ireland except County Dublin. In these areas the AM, PM and Saturday delivery options are also not available. We can deliver on any weekday of your choice, just contact us before 12 noon two days before. AM DELIVERY - BEFORE NOON: This low cost option is available throughout mainland England and Wales except in CA18-19, LA11 and LA17-21. The AM delivery option is also available in Scotland in AB10-16, AB21-25, DD1-5, DG, EH1-35, EH39, EH41, EH45-55, FK1-13, G1-62, G64-82, G84, KA1-25, KY1-8, KY11-12, ML1-11, PA1-8, PA14-16, PH1-2 and all TD postcodes. SATURDAY DELIVERY: This low cost option is available at any mainland address in England or Wales. Saturday delivery is also available in Scotland in AB10-16, AB21-22, AB24-25, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, KA1-26, KA29-30, KY, ML, PA1-19, PH1-18 and TD postcodes. TWIN WALL POLYCARBONATE: Twin wall polycarbonate glazing is far stronger than the flimsy single skin polycarbonate sheeting supplied with other greenhouses. Twin wall polycarbonate is virtually unbreakable and easy to handle, so its safe for the whole family. It provides good insulation from frost and maintains a more even temperature for better plant growth. Twin wall polycarbonate also diffuses light to prevent scorching.
POWDER COATED ALUMINIUM: The powder coated finish is more attractive than the stark silver grey colour of mill finish aluminium. It also has excellent weathering properties and retains its gloss and colour superbly. A good example of the finish achieved with powder coating is the finish on your washing machine, which is very similar to our powder coated greenhouses. The optional base plinth is also powder coated to match the greenhouse frame.
LENGTH AND WIDTH: In the SIZES & PRICES chart the first dimension listed is the width and the second dimension is the length. The width refers to the angled gable wall. All sizes quoted are the external greenhouse sizes unless stated otherwise.
BASE DIMENSIONS: The external base plinth is 1920mm wide x 1298mm long x 130mm high. An alternative base can be made using timber, metal, bricks or concrete. It should be made to the same size as the base plinth.

HALF PRICE BASE PLINTH: The optional base plinth is currently half price compared with the price when purchased separately.
BASE PLINTH: The optional base plinth makes installation much easier. It can be placed on any flat and level surface incuding soil, gravel, concrete or paving slabs. The base is green powder coated to match the greenhouse frame. An extra green coat is added after cutting and drilling so there are no bare metal edges which ensures greater durability.
BASE ANCHORS: Base anchor pegs are provided to fix the base plinth into soil. However if your greenhouse is sited on concrete or slabs it is advisable to fix the base plinth down. We offer base anchor fixing kits as a low cost option or the base can be secured using screws and wall plugs. In less sheltered locations it is advisable to install the greenhouse on a concrete or paving slab base and to secure it in place with suitable fixings.
VENTILATION: Additional ventilation will improve the air circulation through the greenhouse for better growing results. Automatic openers react to heat to ensure that in hot weather the window will ventilate in your absence. A low level louvred ventilator will provide a healthy air flow through the greenhouse to ensure improved growing conditions and better crops. You should consider which plants you may grow because some plants such as alpines require more ventilation than others.

EXTRA NOTE:- THE CUSTOMER REQUESTED A REPLACEMENT DOOR WHEEL ON 15th SEPTEMBER 2008 IN AN EMAIL WHICH IS REPRODUCED BELOW:
Hi, I refer to order number (NUMBER). I have had the greenhouse since March this year and I am delighted with it but a part of it has broken and I need a replacement. The part I need is the small wheel which acts as a runner for the top of the sliding door. It is about 20mm in diameter. There are 2 of them supplied originally but one of them is now broken.
Would it be possible for you to supply a replacement?

Just assembled my greenhouse. Everything went well and I am completely satisfied. But I do need some advice all the same. Whilst assembling and fitting the polycarb glass, with my good wife helping, unfortunately she removed all the plastic protective sheets not noticing that the side with the UV protective coating should be assembled on the outside. We have now no way of knowing which side goes outward. We looked to see if it was noticeable i.e. any difference from one side to the other, but could not tell which side was treated so have now assembled the glass into the greenhouse. Do you know of any UV protection paint that can be applied to the outside now that it has been assembled.
